Fort Doyle
Situated on northern shores of the Parish of Vale, a stone’s throw from Beaucette Marina, this historic fortress dates back to the mid-19th century, and is a testament to Guernsey’s historic, strategic military defences. Constructed during the Victorian era, Fort Doyle was a key stronghold guarding the island against potential threats. Its robust stone walls and commanding presence reflect the islanders’ determination to protect their homeland.
