MP3 Observation Tower at Pleinmont

The MP3 Observation Tower (Marinepeilstände) is one of six MPs that were constructed by the Germans during the WWII occupation of Guernsey. The slits were used to house range finding equipment, and this particular tower is made up of five separate observation floors. The tower occupies a prominent position on the Pleinmont headland, and is still open to the public, who can view the original range finding equipment and other unique wartime pieces.
